![]() To that question there can be ultimately only one answer. ![]() There may be some readers who question how the content of Philosophy of Freedom and the content of Meditations on the Tarot can be reconciled. He also sees in the New Age movement a great danger to Christianity, finding in Valentin Tomberg, for all his intellectually stunning Christian Hermetic esotericism, “a defender of the Catholic Tradition of an extremely high order”. Aspiring to represent Catholic tradition, Roger Buck has found in the Meditations of the Tarot a continuing inspiration toward an ever-deepening Catholicism, a Catholicism whose core is waiting to be discovered, I venture to say, even by the great majority of Catholics. The article posted below has an altogether different concern. ![]() ![]() ![]() This website is dedicated to the ideal of building rainbow bridges between the various streams of Christian esotericism in their professed connection with Rudolf Steiner or Valentin Tomberg or both. The last two articles posted - the first by Joel Wendt and the second by Tom Last - have sought to explain the central importance of a deep working with Steiner’s Philosophy of Freedom for the laying of a right foundation for spiritual knowledge so that a real anthroposophy may find its way into the world. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() Making Manhattan the focus of Ozymandias’ scheme means that the movie doesn’t feature an island filled with missing scientists, artists and psychics…or the gigantic, faux-interstellar squid they created. ![]() This extends to the recent Watchmen TV series. Whereas in the comics, he only targets New York City, and the blame is pinned on a fictitious alien invader. Moore famously hates all of the Hollywood adaptations of his work, including Zack Snyder’s Watchmen and the dystopian classic, V for Vendetta. In the film, Ozymandias obliterates several of the world’s major cities using energy reactors that mimic Doctor Manhattan’s radioactive decay signature. Admittedly, the general gist behind both conclusions – an atrocity is committed to unite humanity against a common enemy, averting impending nuclear war – is the same, but they differ greatly in their execution. Easily the biggest divergence between the Watchmen movie and the maxiseries are their respective endings. ![]() ![]() ![]() He meets all sorts of people throughout the series including a vampire ex-terrorist/all female team who he works with from time to time. ![]() The main character, "Joe Ledger" is a cop recruited by the "DMS" (Department of Military Science). Vince Flynn writes about "Mitch Rapp" as most of you know. I'm not necessarily Tom Clancy fan but rather a "John Clark" fan. I prefer the present day /near future to past or far future (alien beings and space ships). I ran out of "Joe Ledger", "Mitch Rapp", "Court Gentry" and "John Clark" novels.
